Enabling Community Transformation The Rotary Club of Dhule Charitable Foundation, established in 2013, is dedicated to supporting Rotary International’s seven focus areas, including maternal and child health, disease prevention, education, and community development. The foundation financially backs Rotary Club of Dhulia’s initiatives and plays a pivotal role in advancing healthcare, education, and social welfare. The foundation has been instrumental in mobilising resources for the proposed Samarpan Multi-Disability Rehab Centre. With an 80G certification and requisite permissions to accept CSR funding, the foundation ensures that projects like Samarpan are not only implemented but sustained for years to come. Samarpan Multi Disability Rehab Center has been established under Rotary Club of Dhule Charitable Foundation. Below mentioned are the partner organizations who have formally agreed to establish and run the Center.

Bridging Healthcare Gaps in Rural Maharashtra The Kamal Udwadia Foundation, a not-for-profit organisation, has been instrumental in advancing child healthcare in rural Maharashtra. Led by Dr. Anaita Hegde, the foundation has conducted medical camps across Dhule and Nanded, reaching over 21,000 children with neurological concerns. These camps provide holistic care, from diagnosis and therapy to nutritional interventions and free medications. The foundation’s decade-long experience in rural healthcare revealed the urgent need for a permanent facility, culminating in the idea of the Samarpan Multi-Disability Rehab Centre. This center will provide integrated services, ensuring that children with disabilities receive continuous, specialised care.

A Legacy of Education and Healthcare Established in 1950, Matruseva Sangh has a rich legacy of serving women and children from underprivileged backgrounds. The trust operates a government-granted primary school with 350 children, advancing government schemes for student welfare and ensuring access to quality education for economically weaker sections. In healthcare, Matruseva Sangh runs a Charitable Hospital, providing affordable medical services to marginalised communities. This hospital has allocated 4,000 sq. ft. of built-up space for the Samarpan Multi-Disability Rehab Centre on charitable basis, furthering its mission to serve the disabled and their families. Matruseva Sangh’s commitment to community welfare perfectly aligns with Rotary’s vision, making it a vital partner in this transformative project.

Champions of Disability Support Rotary Club and Rotaract Club of Dhulia have consistently supported the disabled community through impactful health initiatives. These clubs organise health camps that focus on early detection of abnormalities in children, ensuring timely intervention. Beyond medical care, they provide essential mobility aids such as tricycles, callipers, and hearing aids and extend financial assistance for surgeries. Rotary’s global efforts to eradicate polio reflect its unparalleled commitment to reducing disabilities worldwide. Over 35 years, Rotary has vaccinated more than 3 billion children in 122 countries, reducing polio cases by 99.9%. This initiative has significantly decreased disabilities caused by polio, aligning perfectly with the clubs’ mission of creating a more inclusive society.

Vidya Vikas Hospital was established in 2001 by Dr Vikas Pawar and Dr Vidya Pawar. It was the first hospital in North Maharashtra dedicated only for pediatric patients. Hospital is spread over the area of 20000 sq.ft. and situated in the heart of the Nashik city. It was started with the main aim to provide premium medical care and comfort, through state of the art equipment and amenities.

The team of Vidya Vikas Hospital has served the society sincerely over 21 years, Now Dr Nikhil Pawar and Dr Sneha Pawar have joined the team with the vision of establishing dedicated Pediatric Neurology Clinic and Neurorehabilitation centre under one roof.

Our mission goes beyond conducting initiatives—we strive to create a platform for every individual in society to showcase their hidden talents.

From organizing award ceremonies that honor artistic excellence to conducting food donation drives and health awareness campaigns for the underprivileged, our organization remains committed to its responsibilities. To preserve and promote the legacy of the arts, we have established the Artist Association, which helps budding artists secure professional opportunities, resolve their concerns, and participate in various workshops.

We are also dedicated to promoting the Ahirani language and ensuring it receives the recognition it deserves. Additionally, our Youth Association plays a vital role in social service, leading initiatives such as food donation drives, cleanliness campaigns, mentorship programs, and the recognition of distinguished women in society. Through these efforts, we continue to inspire and uplift our community.
